
Dr. Shashank Ojha has over 35 years of experience in the Government Advisory and Development Sector. His expertise lies in the domains of project finance, development policy & reforms, and digital transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand) and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI. Before his retirement from the World Bank in June 2021, he led the India Team of the Digital Development Global Practice. He was also the Team Leader of the World Bank team for Digital India/ National e-Governance Program (NeGP) initiative. Over the 22 years with the World Bank, he has been involved in policy design, project development, and advisory support to 50+ national/ sub-national projects in South Asia, East Asia and the Middle East regions. He has worked in various capacities in the World Bank, in the industry and in the management consulting domains. Prior to joining the development sector, he worked in multiple private sector roles as a Senior Management Consultant with Ernst & Young (Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia offices) and as General Manager – Corporate Finance with National Panasonic India / Matsushita Group, Japan.
